Try to get a perfect grip<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  • You can try covering the head of the screw with a rubber band or a glove to get a grip. Push the drill into the rubber while drilling the screw.<\/li>

  • Try to get a grip of the screw head<\/strong> with the locking pliers and then turn both the screw and piler altogether.<\/li>
  • You can also try gluing a nut to the screw head<\/strong> with strong epoxy glue, and once it sets, then you can tighten the screw with a wrench.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    You can use a screw extractor<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    A common problem that we face regularly is a stuck stipped screw. If this happens, then you must try your hand on a screw extractor, which is commonly available at hardware stores. But before you use a perfect sized extractor for the screw, you must drill a pilot hole in the head of the screw. The complete extraction procedure is not as complicated as it looks, but still, you can take help of the steps mentioned below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 1<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Make a \u215b inch or a \u00bc inch hole in the screw head<\/strong> with a drill. The hole size is mostly dependent on the size of the screw. You need a metal pit to drill the hole in the screw, and then you can remove the bit from the drill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Insert the tip of the screw extractor in the hole and then tap the screw in with the hammer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 3<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Easily fit the drill over the screw extractor and then secure it with a drill chuck. Remember to push down on the drill at a slow speed while you are operating the drill in the reverse direction.
