Easy tricks to remove pet hair from your clothes

We all love to have a furry friend around us. We love them so much that we let them sleep with us in our beds. We carry them in our hands or let them sit the couch just like we do. But, before we even notice, everything in your house is entirely covered with pet hair. And, unfortunately, it is quite challenging to clean them from our clothes, upholstery, mats, and whatnot. The last thing is to get rid of the clothes, or items that are spoiled by the pet hair. Removing pet hair is not easy, as it can not be done by just throwing clothes in the laundry.

But fortunately, there is a little laundry hack that you can use to remove the pet hair from clothes before washing them. Have a glance at the following article to learn the simple trick to get rid of your pet’s hair from every cloth and upholstery.

How to remove pet hair?

Removing pet hair is not as easy as washing clothes because pet hair is clingy, and they tend to stick to the fibers of the fabric. Thus, when you soak them in water, the situation gets out of your hand. It is because the wet hair forms clumps and stick inside of the washer drum. It can also result in clogging of your drain.

But worry not, check out the following trick to remove the hair before, washing your clothes. The easiest way is to use the dryer first, then wash it, and then use the dryer again. Read the entire procedure to understand it easily.

  • Remove as much hair as you can by using your hands, lint roller, or scotch tape. You can also remove it by using a slightly damp rubber glove. The hair and the lint stick to the damp rubber glove, and this helps you remove most of the hair from the fabric. Once you are done, shake your bedding and clothes to remove as much hair as you can.
  • Then, throw it in the dryer for about ten minutes on low heat or no heat setting. Add one or two dryer sheets at a time.
  • After the dryer process is completed, take out the dryer sheets and give them one last shake to remove any leftover pet hair from them. Then, clean the lint trap of the drying machine and use it again in a normal setting to clean your sheets.

By using this simple trick, you can have a clean and hair-free cloth to wear and upholstery to use in your apartment.

Winding up:

Having pets is fun, but they come with a lot of responsibility, and one such responsibility is to clean them regularly to avoid any stink. Also, you must get their vaccination done before letting them sit in your bedding. Use the above method to get rid of the pet hair and not of the fabric.
